See how professional casts of animal body parts are made, let your inner artist flow as you paint your own casting to make it look real, and take it home as a keepsake when you are done! Ages 8 and up November 22 & 29 at 11am, 1pm and 2:30pm (additional cost to attend, not included in admission ticket)

Available for ages 8 and up

Learn about the physical and chemical changes that occur when making a cast, including how materials change state, harden, and set. Using painting techniques, students will develop artistic skills, including mixing colors, applying layers, and adding detail to their pre-made cast to create a finished piece that reflects both scientific understanding and personal expression.

At the end of the workshop, guests will take home their very own painted model as a keepsake of their work and creativity! This month's cast is a Velociraptor claw!
